Managed IT, Cameras & Access Control for Construction Companies in Southern Colorado

Yard cameras built for clear evidence. Procore support when you need it. General contractor (GC) compliance handled. Office IT, access control, and audio/video (AV) under one roof. All from a local partner in Southern Colorado, not a help desk in Denver.

The Reality

Construction IT Problems Nobody Else Solves

Your IT guy doesn't understand jobsites. Your camera vendor doesn't understand compliance. Your AV company doesn't touch networking. We handle all of it.

Cameras Go Down, Nobody Knows

Jobsite cameras drop offline after storms or power cycles and nobody catches it until something goes missing. And when footage does exist, it's too blurry to identify anyone.

GC Compliance Is a Scramble

Every general contractor has different cybersecurity requirements. You're handing them spreadsheets and hoping for the best.

Three Vendors, Zero Coordination

One company for IT, another for cameras, a third for access control. Nobody talks to each other. When something breaks, you play phone tag for hours.

Bid Documents at Risk

Your estimating files and bid numbers sit on machines with no device protection, no extra login step to stop a stolen password, and no backups. One ransomware hit or one leaked credential, and a competitor has your numbers.

Built for Southern Colorado

We Build for Southern Colorado Job Sites, Not a Generic Office

We are not a Denver shop that drives down for the big jobs. Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Fountain, and the I-25 corridor in between are home. And the corridor is building. Pueblo is in the middle of a $114 million rebuild of the I-25 and US 50B interchange, and new commercial sites keep breaking ground up and down the corridor. Every one of them is another yard to wire, another gate to badge, and another trailer to get online before the crew shows up. That is the work we do. Local also means we catch the things a generic IT vendor never thinks about.

Your job site and your office can answer to different building departments

As of January 2026, building authority in the Pueblo area split in two. A job inside Pueblo city limits goes through the new Southern Colorado Building Department. A job in unincorporated Pueblo County, including Pueblo West and Colorado City, goes through the brand new Pueblo County Building Division. Authority follows where the job site sits, not your mailing address, and a contractor working both sides now carries a separate license for each. Pulling permits is not our job. But your project files, your compliance documents, and your site cameras span those jurisdictions, and we build the IT and security backbone that keeps them straight as crews move between them.

Connectivity built for a site with no wired internet yet

A new site starts with no drop and no fast way to get one, so crews improvise with a hotspot and a consumer router. Then one outage takes the whole site dark, cameras included. We design jobsite connectivity around a rugged router that fails over on its own between cellular and satellite, so a dropped link does not blind your yard. And we plan around a trap most people hit: Starlink, even the business plan, puts you behind carrier-grade network address translation with no public address, which quietly kills your ability to view site cameras from the office. We record footage locally at each site and set up remote access the right way, so you can actually pull video from your phone at 2am.

One view across every active site

Run more than one site and each becomes its own island. Footage on a recorder under the trailer desk, drawings on somebody's laptop, badge access on a panel by the gate, none of it talking to the rest. We tie them together so your office sees every site from one place, footage syncs back without choking a weak uplink, and the gate at a remote site keeps letting the right people in even when it loses signal, because the access decision lives at the door, not in the cloud.

Gear that survives a Southern Colorado year

Pueblo swings more than thirty degrees between afternoon and night and runs from below zero in winter to over a hundred in summer. The sun sits at altitude, so ultraviolet is stronger than at sea level and slowly yellows and embrittles cheap camera domes and cable jackets. And the whole Front Range sits in Hail Alley, with spring wind, summer monsoon storms, and blowing dust on every dirt site. So we do not hang consumer cameras out here and hope. We spec sealed, impact-tolerant housings and mount for wind and dust, because a camera that fogs, cracks, or fades by next spring is not evidence, it is a liability. It is also how Front Range contractors are getting ahead of rising job site theft.

Evidence-Grade Cameras

Your Yard Cameras Aren't Just for Watching. They're for Proving.

When equipment walks off the lot at 2am, you need footage clear enough to be useful to your insurance adjuster and the police. Not a blurry blob that could be anyone.

Camera Systems That Work for Claims and Reports

We design camera systems around evidence capture, not just live viewing. That means 4K resolution with fast shutter speeds that freeze license plates and faces, even at night. Dedicated plate-reading cameras at gate entries that capture plates as vehicles pass. And retention policies that keep footage long enough to actually use it.

  • 4K cameras with fast shutter speeds for clear nighttime identification
  • Dedicated plate-reading cameras at every gate
  • Infrared (IR) and supplemental lighting tuned for your yard layout
  • Retention policies built around insurance and legal requirements
  • Remote access so you can pull footage from your phone at 2am
Enterprise Camera Platform

All cameras run on an enterprise platform with no per-camera software license, the fee cloud camera systems charge forever. Footage records locally on-site, not on a mandatory per-camera cloud bill. Buy the system and it is yours from day one, and if you want GTZ monitoring and maintaining it, add an optional flat monthly Security Operations plan. And because access control, networking, and cameras all live in the same platform, a door unlock event is automatically linked to camera footage of who walked through.

  • No per-camera licensing fees
  • Camera events linked to access control events
  • 24/7 uptime monitoring and offline alerts
  • Temporary jobsite cameras with backup cellular internet

  • Cybersecurity policy documentation for GC prequalification
  • Managed threat detection that hunts attackers already inside your systems
  • Automated backup verification and tested restores
  • Compliance reporting packages ready when the GC asks

Bid Security

Your Bid Numbers Are Worth Protecting

Construction bids are confidential. If a competitor gets your numbers, you lose the job. It's that simple.

Cybersecurity Built Around What You Actually Need to Protect

Ransomware doesn't just lock your files. It shuts down your ability to bid. And a leaked credential on the dark web means someone could be reading your estimates right now. We layer protections specifically around the things that matter to a construction company: bid documents, estimating software, email, and project files.

  • Managed threat detection that hunts attackers already inside your systems, to catch ransomware before it encrypts your bid files
  • Dark web monitoring alerts you if employee credentials are leaked
  • An extra login step so a stolen password alone can't get in, on everything, especially email and estimating software
  • Automated backups with verified recovery so you're never stuck

Why GCs Care About Your Cybersecurity

General contractors are tightening their prequalification requirements. More and more are asking for proof of device protection, backup policies, and security awareness training before they'll let you bid. We build the controls and the documentation so you're ready when they ask.

  • Prequalification documentation packages on demand
  • Written cybersecurity policies tailored to construction
  • Annual security awareness training for your team
  • Incident response plan so you know what to do if something happens

FAQ

Construction IT Questions, Answered Straight

Do you support Procore, Sage, and our estimating software?

Yes. We support Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Sage, and the estimating and accounting tools construction offices actually run, including the file workflows and remote access your project managers and estimators depend on every day.

Do we buy the cameras and gear outright, or is there a monthly option?

You buy the hardware outright as a one-time purchase, sized to your build, and own it from day one. From there we monitor and maintain the cameras, access control, and network for a flat monthly Security Operations plan, billed separately from the equipment and never blended into it, so you always know what the gear cost and what the service costs. If tying up capital in equipment is a concern, tell us when we scope your quote and we will walk through the options.

Do you cover multiple job sites and field trailers, not just the office?

Yes, and that is most of what makes construction different from a normal office. We design connectivity for active sites and trailers with automatic internet failover, record camera footage locally at each site so a weak link never loses it, and give your office one place to see every site. Door access keeps working at the gate even when a site loses signal.

We need cybersecurity documentation for general contractor prequalification. Can you provide it?

Yes. We build the controls and the paperwork: written security policies, proof of device protection and backups, and security awareness training, packaged so you can hand a general contractor exactly what they ask for without scrambling at the deadline.

Do you actually come out to Pueblo and Southern Colorado job sites?

Yes. Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Fountain, and the I-25 corridor are our core service area, not a stretch we tolerate. You get a local owner who shows up on site, not a help desk in another state.

How fast can you onboard us, and are we locked into a long contract?

Managed IT onboarding runs about 10 business days. Camera and access installs depend on scope, usually one to two weeks. The standard agreement is 12 months and renews automatically with a 60-day out, and month-to-month is available on request at our standard rates.
